There is more than a healthy dose of new-wave romantic style in the collections from Australian designer label Romance Was Born. The design duo behind the label met in Sydney and soon discovered they shared a taste for theatrical gestures in fashion. The make-up for their Autumn 2012 collection was wild – reminiscent of 80s London with nods to both David Bowie and Culture Club.
