This week we got caught up with Stella from Stella’s Wardrobe, a blog that deliciously combines our two great loves; food and fashion.
Who or what inspired you to start your own blog?
I’ve always loved creating outfits but not until friends told me I should share my looks with a wider audience did I consider having my own blog. It is a great way for me to look back at my creative processes whilst putting the weekly outfits together, a kind of photographic diary that is useful for more and that I hope other people also enjoy.
Could you describe your blog in 3 words?
Unique coherent outfits.
Who are you top 3 designers for 2012 and why?
Jonathan Saunders- Always reinventing itself, he creates designs that flatter women and make them dare to wear colour.
Givenchy- For always putting on the most breathtaking and out of this world haute couture show.
Mary Katrantzou- She is not only the new master of the printed statement dress but is also behind the most exciting high street collaboration of the year, later this year launching her SS 12 collection for Topshop which it will be worth queuing for!
What was you favourite show from last season’s (s/s ’12) fashion weeks?
I absolutely loved the Jonathan Saunders show with its beautiful pastel colour palette and intricately tie dyed dresses that instantly put me in the mood for summer.
Your blog combines 2 of our favourite things, fashion and food. Where are you top 3 places to eat in London?
Spuntino- for a NY bar vibe, the best dessert in the world and the tattooed, handsome and super friendly staff.
St Ali- the best brunch and coffee in town, if you have never had the innovative and delicious Australian take on this mealtime what are you waiting for?
Nordic Bakery- Fresh cinnamon buns coming out of the oven every half an hour, I needn’t say more.

What was the last album you bought?
Gill Scott Heron & Jamie XX – We’re new here.
There are millions of fashion blogs online today, how do you make yours stand out from the rest?
I don’t really look at any other blogs, I just do my own thing. I dress how I like and stopped caring what other people thought about what I wear a long time ago. I try to create balanced outfits that are unique and reflect my sense of style and as there is only one of me I guess that makes the blog stand out!
If you had to have one outfit permanently attached to your body forEVER, what would it be?
As silly as it sounds I am quite attached to all the outfits I create so would find it impossible to pick just one!
What trends will you be favouring this s/s?
I love the pastel tones that are set to be massive for the upcoming season and am sure to make them a feature in a few outfits to come!
What do you hope to achieve with your blog in 2012?
I hope to gain more followers, improve the blogger and create better and better outfits each week!
