Finally knee high boots have been plucked from the fashion wilderness. February’s fashion weeks saw catwalks littered with them; Armani, Hermes, Chloé and YSL all championing the knee high. Aside from the length boots are back with a bang this winter with a wide selection of styles coming into stores this season; Sheepskin, snakeskin, wedge heels, stillettos, thigh high - The great thing about this trend is that the choices are seemingly endless!
One style i’m particularly in love with this season has to be Navajo. Folk is most definitely in Vogue, which means a welcomed return for fringing, quilting and blanket stitching. A style that designer Isabel Marant fully embraced in her A/W ’11 rtw collection, teaming most pieces with a pair of thigh high fringed boots.
